How amazing is God!
Last Sunday I really believed I needed to bite the bullet and talk to Beachside Church about generosity. I needed to encourage them to find a way to be generous even in tough times. The truth is that our meagre out-goings have been consistently exceeding our even more meagre in-comings and there is only one result to that situation! I was a bit nervous talking about money as I know how that can freak some people out. Then three amazing things happened:
1. I arrived home from morning church to find a wad of $50 notes had been left on my home computer! It turned out to be a $1400 gift to our church from Pastor Murray Newman and “Encounter-life” Church, Berkeley Vale
2. After night church a young lady came up to me asking how she could accept Christ into her life
3. Then when I got home there was another $825 from Pastor Murray!
We can now pay all our bills and we have a brand new follower of Christ added into the family of God.
How amazing is our God and how amazing is His Church!
