This week I have been thinking about what I need. That’s not what I want but what I need.
This train of thought began when we exchanged our 300sq/m home for our 8sq/m caravan which would be our home for Hillsong week. The truth is that in the van we still have all we need and more!
My thoughts went to another level when we walked around Sydney and noticed so many homeless people begging. Our caravan suddenly seemed positively luxurious!
But even these homeless people have a lot compared to many people in less affluent countries. Whether we see ourselves as rich or poor is all relevant isn’t it?
How important it is to live with an attitude of thankfulness to our wonderful God who gives us all we need and a lot of what we want!
